Occupants on either side of the bathroom are not able to lock the doors to prevent access while using the bathroom thereby creating a suite of rooms. ![]() Due to state fire code, suite bathroom doors are not able to be locked. Residents with a suite bath configuration are responsible for the cleaning of the bathroom space and must provide their own paper products. Suite bathrooms are contained within the bedroom unit, either between two double-occupancy rooms, two single-occupancy rooms, or shared by the two occupants of a private single suite. Residents with suite bathrooms do not have to leave their bedroom to make use of the bathroom space, and access to the bathroom is limited to the occupants of the room(s) that connect to the area.
